Website helps you find a "Sugar Daddy"

(NECN/ABC) - It's a website where people are expected to be perfectly blunt. Where prospective Sugar Babies let potential Sugar Daddies know right up front how much they expect to get. Anywhere from 2-thousand dollars, to upwards of 20-grand – a month. Otherwise -- everything's negotiable.

Brandon Wade got the idea for Seeking Arrangement-dot-com several years ago while working at Microsoft in Seattle. He was single at the time, made a very good living, but had trouble meeting women. So he came up with this unique proposition...

Brandon Wade: "I’m willing to give her a good time, pamper her, I’m willing to pay for the date, and maybe with some of her bills as well."

And what happens next is between those two people.

Robin Wakefield: "I don't know.. It seems pretty cool. If that's what they Both want, good for them.”

Melissa Pelham: "I would expect that other young women would know what they’re getting themselves into."

The site says it brokers "Mutually Beneficial Relationships".. Not only between rich men and younger women, but rich women and younger men.

Pepper Schwartz: "well, it sounds like prostitution to me, it really does.."

Pepper Schwartz is a sociology professor at the University of Washington. She says this website is bad news, especially for women.

Pepper Schwartz: "I think the same thing is happening online that's Happening in a bar. Somebody is willing to give you money, for whatever Reason,

if you will have dinner with me, wink, wink. In other words, I’m Expecting more and you know it."

"Wade firmly admits that nearly half of the registered sugar daddies are Married, actively looking for a mistress or a fling."

Brandon wade: "these guys are really looking for somebody else on the side to really take care of the other aspect of their needs, which is the Intimacy, somebody they can care about, have that relationship that they Otherwise do not have at home."

He's apparently found a niche. He claims there are 300-THOUSAND members worldwide right now, with 5-thousand of them being Sugar Daddies in the Seattle area.
