(NECN) - The push is on to develop and produce biofuels to reduce our dependence on oil. A Massachusetts start-up has been generating headlines with what it says is a new process that involves photosynthetic organisms, sunlight and carbon dioxide to make liquid fuel.

The company is Joule Biotechnologies based in Cambridge. President and CEO Bill Sims joins NECN to discyss the company.
