Hammer was the keynote speaker at the Gravity Summit. With more than 1.3 million people following him on Twitter, he has become a social media star.
MC Hammer: “I try to bring down all the barriers of fear around social media. Some people are just fearful about not knowing how to engage or to relearn habits and behaviors. It’s very tough for them.”
This is the first east coast event for Gravity Summit founder Rodney Rumford. His company aims to educate and empower the business community with information on social media tools.
Troy Kelley, Chief Digital Officer for the advertising company Arnold Worldwide says clients are wrestling with how to use technologies like Facebook and Twitter better.
