| November 2, 2009 RI school children line up for H1N1 vaccine
|
(NECN: Katie Davis - Providence, RI) - Rhode Island school children can now receive the swine flu shot starting Monday.
The vaccine is being distributed at several schools across the state.
But officials tell parents if they don't get vaccinated Monday, they may have to wait another month.
Schools in Rhode Island began vaccinating students on a voluntary basis.
Vaccination dates vary depending on the schools.
The locations will change throughout November depending on how much vaccine is available.
Pediatricians say the H1N1 virus isn't necessarily more dangerous, but it can spread more quickly.
