(NECN) - A new poll released by Suffolk University and WHDH shows most Massachusetts voters think Attorney General Martha Coakley will win the Democratic primary to succeed the late Senator Ted Kennedy. The poll released Thursday showed that 44 percent of people polled believe Coakley will win the Dec. 8 primary. Seventeen percent said they believe Boston Celtics co-owner Steve Pagliuca will win, 16 percent chose U.S. Rep. Michael Capuano and 3 percent went for City Year co-founder Alan Khazei. Twenty percent were undecided. In the Republican race, 45 percent said they believe state Sen. Scott Brown will win, with 7 percent backing Jack E. Robinson and 47 percent undecided. David Paleologos a pollster from Suffolk University joins Jim Braude on Broadside to discuss the new numbers. Information from the Associated Press is included in this report.
