Bruins Trade Dougie Hamilton Ahead of NHL Draft

They received a first round draft pick and two second round picks in return

The Boston Bruins have traded defenseman Dougie Hamilton to the Calgary Flames in exchange for a first round pick and two second round picks in Friday's NHL Draft.

Hamilton played three seasons in Boston, appearing in 178 NHL games. He scored 22 goals and had 61 assists for 83 total points. He was drafted in the first round in 2011.

The Bruins have also been rumored to be shopping forward Milan Lucic, so it's possibly that this might just be the first of several moves.
