New Hampshire State Police say a person is charged with drunk driving after crashing a vehicle into a home Friday night.

Around 10:18 p.m., police responded to the crash on Main Street in Gilsum. Preliminary investigation reveals the vehicle was speeding when it left the roadway, struck several trees, and crashed into a home at the corner of Banks Road and Main Street.

The passenger of the vehicle, 39-year-old Jessica Libbey of Gilsum, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center via medical helicopter.

The driver, identified as 21-year-old Jesse Baldinelli of Gilsum, was determined to be under the influence at the scene. He was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a second offense of driving after suspension, and conduct after an accident.

Baldinelli is being held on cash bail ahead of his arraignment on Monday.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Hawley Rae at 603-223-8494.
