Turkey Hill Dairy has recalled select containers of Dutch Chocolate Premium Ice Cream because the package may actually contain a different flavor.
According to a press release by the company, select 48 oz. containers of the Dutch Chocolate Premium Ice Cream may actually contain Rocky Road Premium Ice Cream.
The almonds and eggs in the Rocky Road could be harmful to people with food sensitivities or allergies to those ingredients.
Company officials said the 48 oz. container has the UPC code of 20735-42095 and a sell-by date of May 23, 2017.
The recall includes ice cream sold at stores in 25 states including Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.
Turkey Hill Dairy said they have not received any reports of illness.
Customers can return the containers to the place they bought them for a full refund.
