(NECN) - Larry J. Merlo, the president and chief executive of CVS Caremark, was the keynote speaker at Boston's College's Chief Executives Club of Boston on Tuesday.

Merlo spoke about the three problems facing the health care system: the "silver tsunami", in reference to the aging baby boomer generation; the health care overhaul; and the projected shortage of primary care physicians.

The luncheon was held at the Boston Harbor Hotel.
