(NECN) -  Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts CEO Andrew Dreyfus has held senior positions in state government, with the Massachusetts Hospital Association and, since 2009, as CEO of the state’s biggest insurance company.

This week, Dreyfus stopped by CEO Corner to talk about lessons he has learned leading and changing organizations as well as his efforts to empower his 3,500 employees to be more entrepreneurial.

He also discusses how a Blue Cross-Red Sox workplace exercise competition inspired employees to put in thousands of miles of walking, biking and running.
