A 67-year-old woman was killed after being flung from a snowmobile Sunday in Bethel, Vermont.
Police believe Dorothy Wilson of Bethel lost control and hit a log on private property about half a mile off of Sanders Road.
State police responded to the crash around 3:30 p.m. They noted that freezing rain and snow were falling at the time of the incident.
Wilson was wearing proper gear, including a helmet, according to police.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating the death.
