(NECN: Salisbury, Mass.) - There has been an explosion at a construction plant in Salisbury, Massachusetts.
It happened at the SPS New England plant on Elm Street.
Dennis Chagnon, 48, of Alton, New Hampshire was making repairs on a work boat with welding equipment when trapped fumes exploded.
Chagnon, a 15-year employee and certified welder, was taken to Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. He is being treated for a broken leg and other minor injuries.
No one else was hurt.
Officials are investigating.
