Gas Prices Suffer Major Price Jump

(NECN) - There's been a major jump at the pump. A new survey finds the average price of
regular gasoline in the United States has jumped 8.23 cents in the past two weeks.

The Lundberg survey of fuel prices released Sunday says the average price of a gallon of regular gas is $2.77.

The survey finds the average price for a gallon of mid-grade was $2.91, and premium was at $3.02.

Tucson, Arizona, had the lowest average price at $2.51 a gallon for regular gas, and San Francisco the highest at $3.08.
