(NECN) - Boston Mayor Tom Menino is having surgery to repair tendons in his eyes.
The mayor's spokewoman says Menino's eyelids with be tightened and restrung on Wednesday - making it easier for him to see.
They mayor will not be sedated or unconscious during the surgery, so he will not transfer any duties or responsibilities.
