This has been a very busy year for the field, with the new health care law passing and taking effect, an effort toward a global payment system, and a major Massachusetts hospital chain is being sold and going private.
Also, the Deficit Commission is expected this week to release their findings on the American health care industry, saying its the biggest contributor to the countrys national deficit. Health care is growing faster than many other portions of major government.
