(NECN: Greg Wayland) - It was an action-packed morning for wildlife officials in Massachusetts on Friday as they tried to get three deer to safety in two separate incidents.
NECN’s Greg Wayland was live on the scene of one of the rescues in Waltham, Mass., on Friday, and sadly, he reported that not all the deer made it.
“This is the time of year when that starts happening,” said Chief Roger Hebert of the Waltham Fire Department.
