State police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that started when a rear tire malfunctioned on a car traveling eastbound on Route 101 in Epping, New Hampshire.
Police said that driver slowed down, pulled into a breakdown lane, and stopped. Traffic slowed quickly and the resulting crash happened Tuesday night as one car changed lanes and struck another car, sending both vehicles into a guardrail. Another driver also struck one of the cars and the guardrail.
The three drivers suffered minor injuries and part of the road was closed temporarily.
