Jury selection is underway in the trial of a Maine man who's accused of using a phony Facebook profile to lure a teenager to her death.
The judge set aside Wednesday and Thursday to select a jury in the trial of Kyle Dube of Orono.
The trial date is scheduled for later this month. But first, Superior Court Justice Ann Murray must rule on a motion by Dube's attorneys to move the trial out of Penobscot County because of media coverage of the case. Also pending is a ruling on a motion to suppress statements Dube made to police.
Dube is accused of using a fake Facebook profile to set up a meeting with Nichole Cable of Glenburn before killing her in May 2013.
