A 54-year-old Brockton, Massachusetts, man facing child rape charges for allegedly impregnating a 12-year-old girl is scheduled back in court this coming week.
Elbert Richardson has a dangerousness hearing Monday to determine if he should be held for up to 90 days as a threat to the community.
Richardson pleaded not guilty earlier this month to two counts of indecent assault on a child and aggravated rape of a child. He is being held without bail pending Monday's hearing.
Richardson's wife has told The Enterprise that her husband is not the father, but a 13-year-old neighborhood boy is. DNA tests are pending.
The girl's mother took her daughter to the hospital late last month and was told the girl was eight months pregnant. The girl alleges Richardson is the father.
