Hundreds of greater Boston families will rally Thursday morning for broad change in the classroom.
Supporters want to close the achievement gap between students in the state's best and worst schools.
Organizers say 77,000 students in the Commonwealth attend a persistently failing school.
Eighty-five percent are low-income students, while 71-percent are either African-American or Latino.
The rally begins just before 9 a.m. at Faneuil Hall.
