Cops: Woman Sexually Assaulted, Suspect Flees on Bike

The incident happened near the Weld Boat House on Memorial Drive around 2 a.m.

Massachusetts State Police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted in Cambridge early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened near the Weld Boat House on Memorial Drive around 2 a.m.

The victim told police she had left a bar shortly before closing time and was walking toward the river when a man approached and assaulted her.

When she screamed for help two people ran toward the area, at which point the suspect fled on bike.

The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She has since been released.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s, with a stocky build and blonde or light-brown hair.
