He was joined by Mark Volpe, the Boston Symphony Orchestra managing director, for more on the Tanglewood, the summer home of the of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Tanglewood is home to the Tanglewood Music Center Fellowship Program. The program is the summer academy for advanced musical study and offers training in singing, conducting and composing, among other areas of study.
The BSO puts $60 million per year in the Berkshires.
