Disabled MBTA Train Traps Passengers for 2 Hours

The incident happened on the Kingston Line on train 55 around 10:30 Monday night

Passengers on an MBTA Commuter Rail train were trapped for two hours after the train they were riding broke down overnight Monday, according to Keolis.

The incident happened on the Kingston Line on train 55 around 10:30 Monday night.

Around 65 people were on the train at the time.

A rescued train was called, but the operation was delayed because Kingston is at the end of the line and the train could only come from one direction.

The train arrived at 12:50 Tuesday morning.
