An associate of convicted former NFL star Aaron Hernandez has been convicted of accessory to murder after the fact.
Ernest Wallace was sentenced to serve four and a half to seven years in prison for his role in the murder of Odin Lloyd, according to the Bristol D.A. Prosecutors had recommended the full seven year sentence.
In trial, his attorneys said Wallace had no idea about Hernandez's plan.
The former Patriots tight end is serving a life sentence for first degree murder.
A third man, Carlos Ortiz, is scheduled to go on trial in June.
