A 34-year-old Springfield, Massachusetts, man authorities allege tied up, stabbed and raped three teenage girls in September has pleaded not guilty.
Peter Wray pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Hampden Superior Court to 17 charges, including multiple counts of rape, assault and battery, and kidnapping.
He was held on $100,000 bail.
Authorities say Wray, already listed on the Massachusetts sex offender registry, tied up three young women at a house party, put hoods over their heads and stabbed and raped them.
He allegedly stole a car and drove to Georgia with his girlfriend and young child. He was apprehended in Georgia in October.
The girls range in age from 16 to 18.
His lawyer says he denies the charges.
