A man is facing a number of charges after taking his two children from their mother's vehicle and fleeing from Connecticut to Massachusetts.
Massachusetts State Police said troopers were on the lookout Tuesday for a gray Audi that had originated from New Britain, Connecticut. The driver was identified as Kurtis Webb, 28.
Police said he had forcibly removed his two children from their mother's vehicle in Connecticut and was headed to Springfield, Massachusetts.
Webb was later arrested later in Springfield without incident and the children were reunited with their mother.
Webb was charged with being a fugitive from justice from Connecticut, two counts of cruelty toward a child — risk of injury, and two counts of disturbing the peace.
