A Millbury, Massachusetts, man charged with assaulting three women in a remote Sutton corn field has been held without bail.
The Telegram & Gazette reports that a Worcester Superior Court Judge on Thursday ruled that 56-year-old Raymond Grenier poses "a serious risk of danger" to the community and can be held up to four months without bail.
The alleged assaults occurred on June 15 and 21, and Nov. 1.
Two alleged victims work as prostitutes in Worcester. They told police they were picked up by Grenier, driven to Sutton, assaulted, and left stranded.
The third woman said she met Grenier in a bar, and he brought her to Sutton.
Grenier's attorney says his client poses a low risk because of his age and asked he be released on GPS monitoring.
