Mayor Promises Action After Alleged Cop Threat on Camera

According to the Boston Globe, Mayor Michael McGlynn supported the decision to place Detective Stephen LeBert on leave following the incident.

The mayor of Medford, Massachusetts, is promising "decisive action" after an off-duty police officer was tape allegedly threatening to "blow a hole through your f---ing head" after pulling a man over for driving down a one-way street.

According to the Boston Globe, Mayor Michael McGlynn supported the decision to place Detective Stephen LeBert on leave following the incident.

The driver in the video said he accidentally went the wrong way down a one-way street and didn't know. He also told the Globe he recently bought the dash camera after getting into an accident.

Medford police say they'll be interviewing the officer, the driver, and potentially other witnesses during the investigation.
