A homeless man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in South Boston Thursday afternoon, police say.
According to police, the incident was the result of a fight between two homeless men.
The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center.
The call came in just after 3 p.m. First responders found a male stabbed near 35 Patterson Way.
Officials say the victim has serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
The suspect has been identified and police are trying to locate him.
