While this is in active investigation, the Everett Police Department and I would like to reiterate our strong opposition to crime in Everett. The Everett police force is comprised of over 100 well-qualified officers and they are pursuing this case diligently. The police do not believe that this was a random act of violence and are working with the district attorney to secure the perpetrator.
I encourage the Licensing Board to investigate this incident and fully review the premises of the homicide, which took place outside of Braza Bar and Grille."
