Police and fire are gathered along the Charles River in Boston after a body was found in the water.

State police say the body is that of an adult male who may be a member of the homeless community, however, the identification efforts are ongoing.

It doesn't appear that the body is that of a missing Harvard man who was reported missing last month, according to the Suffolk District Attorney's office.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death.
