Warren Vows To Continue Fight as GOP Wins Senate

Republicans have claimed at least 52 seats in the next Senate

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren says she's going to keep championing the values she has pushed even as Democrats cede control of the Senate to Republicans following the midterm elections.

The Massachusetts Democrat said Wednesday that she'll "continue that fight from any platform" she can, whether Democrats are in the majority or the minority in the chamber.

Republicans have claimed at least 52 seats in the next Senate, with the outcome still to be determined in a handful of races.

Warren said even with majority control of the Senate, Democrats have been stymied by Republicans blocking action on key issues, from raising the minimum wage to reducing the interest rate on student loans and guaranteeing birth control through employer health care plans.

Warren also said she'll fight for greater disclosure of campaign spending.
