Police with the University of New Hampshire confirm a shelter in place has been lifted after a gun was allegedly shown by the Gables student apartment complex.
UNH Media Relations says there was no fight or threat and that the alleged incident was with four males who were visiting, and not a UNH student.
The order for shelter in place was sent to the campus via e-mail around 4 Monday morning and was lifted around 5:30.
Media relations says two males who were not students were taken into protective custory for alcohol as part of the investgation.
Police remain on scene and continue to investigatem but there are no charges pending.
