On Monday afternoon the MBTA Fiscal and Management Control Board voted to end late night service without any discussion.
The service ran Friday and Saturday nights until 2 a.m. to accommodate those riders who wanted to go out in the city but take the T back home.
March 19 is the final night of late-night service and many riders were not happy with the decision.
