Police say two people are in custody in connection with an armed movie theater robbery in Bennington, Vermont, last June.

Police said two people carrying guns robed the Bennington Cinemas, cut the phone lines and forced the clerk to go to a back room. No one was hurt.

The Bennington Banner reports 32-year-old Chris Lyttle, a former employee at the theater, was arrested in New York on Monday and is awaiting extradition to Vermont. A police affidavit says 23-year-old Star Crandall of Bennington told police she and Lyttle robbed the theater. It wasn't immediately known if they had lawyers.
