Police searching for a suspect in the shooting death of a Vermont man over the weekend have arrested a girlfriend on charges that she helped him evade capture.
Police said 29-year-old Kristin Walsh of Keene, New Hampshire, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with hindering apprehension and witness tampering.
She's accused of helping 30-year-old Gregory Allen Smith, who is sought on a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of 37-year-old Wesley Wing in Springfield.
Walsh, who was on probation, was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Keene. It was not immediately known if she had a lawyer.
Police are still searching for Smith.
