State police say a 13-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the foot while hunting in Waitsfield, Vermont.
Authorities say the boy accidentally fired his weapon Wednesday afternoon and shot himself in his left foot while hunting on a property in the town.
The boy was taken to a hospital and was expected to be released later Wednesday. State police did not release his name because he's a juvenile.
No other injuries were reported.
