Boston is one of the top 10 big cities to visit in America, according to a recent survey by Condé Nast Traveler.
For the survey, which garnered responses from 600,000 of Condé Nast's readers, pollers asked what people's favorite American cities to visit were as part of the magazine's 2019 Readers' Choice Awards. The most voted-for cities were then split into two groups; small cities, or those with populations under 350,000 people, and big cities, those with 350,000 people or more.
Boston ranked No. 3 on the list for its historic sites along the Freedom Trail, restaurants like the North End's Neptune raw bar, and art institutions like the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Boston edged out New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and New York.
