Cool and Partly Cloudy, But Showers Possible This Week

Cool breeze, partly cloudy with a mountain snow shower. Highs in the mid-40s with west northwest wind 10-18 mph. Overnight Monday: Mostly clear with a wintry chill. Lows in the 20s, 10s north. Northwest wind 5-10 mph.

Not much exciting weather over the next several days. Temperatures will moderate into the mid-50s by Wednesday and then drop back into the 40s by Thursday.

Seesawing temperatures appear likely through the next 10 days. The weather for the tree lighting at Copley Square Monday night looks nice – temperatures in the upper 30s by 5 p.m.

Thursday night's tree lighting at Boston Common will also be pleasant with temperatures around 40 degrees.

Models were showing a significant storm by the end of the week and weekend, however, it isn’t looking that way today. Showers are possible, but the heavy rain and high winds are looking less likely at this point.
