High pressure has moved in from southeastern Canada with a decrease in humidity and temperatures are cooling a bit in far northern New England to the 40s, otherwise 50s and 60s.
Patchy fog early on Wednesday should evaporate leaving us with mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures, or a lot of spots that hit 90 degrees yesterday are closer to 75 to 80 today. At the beach, with an onshore flow, temperatures will be in the 60s.
Weather systems are not moving very fast, so we have a couple of more nice days in a row, but the remnant of Alberto and a front in the Midwest lurk, waiting for a move toward New England later this week.
Clouds gradually return tomorrow, along with some more warmth and humidity, high temperature in the 80s, cooler and southern and eastern New England.
It's pretty interesting that the warmest weather in New England could be northern Maine where we could hit 90 degrees tomorrow afternoon. Then a front from the Midwest with the remnant of Alberto arrive at night and stick around for the next several days.
Humidity builds with a chance of showers off and on Friday into Saturday, then cooler weather with a chance of areas of steady rain Saturday night and Sunday.
It's a tough call on who and when gets the rain. Don't cancel the plans, but stay tuned to the forecast.
