An 8-year-old girl and her 13-year-old brother were injured when they were struck by a vehicle while playing in a driveway in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Wednesday.
Manchester police said a 47-year-old resident was backing his vehicle out of a shared driveway on Orange Street around 7 p.m. when he struck the two children.
Both children were taken to an area hospital and treated for their injuries.

The 8-year-old girl broke a leg and also needed several stitches. Her brother sustained a hand injury.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
