Flames engulfed a truck, just feet away from several businesses at Assembly Row in Somerville, Massachusetts on Sunday.
A video from the local firefighter's union shows the truck on fire, with flames and thick, dark smoke shooting into the area, hitting the nearby Columbia store.
In a tweet posted Sunday, Somerville Firefighters Union Local 76 said the incident is one reason why Assembly Row is in need of a fully-staffed engine company.
The union said this could have been a lot worse since it happened so close to several buildings, and credited the quick-thinking driver with moving the truck to avoid property damage.

The truck driver managed to get out of the vehicle and is okay, according to the union.
It's unclear what sparked the fire.
