(NECN) – Meteorologist Matt Noyes said Thursday will be a humid morning with showers. The humidity is a sign of more moisture on its way.
The showers will develop
overnight Wednesday night. Some downpours have already developed with a surge of more humid air coming up from the south.
Around 5:30 a.m., the heavy rain will begin and continue into the early morning, so Noyes advises allowing extra time for your morning commute.
Downpours will come and go over the course of Thursday into the middle of next week due to a very unsettled storm pattern. It is essentially putting a stall on the atmosphere where moisture and energy combine, creating periodic rain and downpours that we should expect for the next several days.
Because the air is humid, it does stay mild in regards to the temperature. Thursday's temperatures should get into the 70s.
