The Revival of Boylston Street

(NECN: Kathryn Sotnik) - As the investigation into the Boston Marathon bombings moves forward, so does the city of Boston.

The bombing scene reopened to the public for the first time Wednesday, just part of an emotional next step as so many continue to heal.

People have been coming out throughout the day to place flowers, American flags and other belongings on the memorial site.

Boston Mayor Tom Menino is offering free parking on Boylston Street and throughout the Back Bay until the end of the week in order to make it easier for people to visit.
