(NECN) - A two-month-old boy from Lowell is injured and critical condition, and police say his father is to blame.
Lowell Police responded to a home on Mammoth Road on Saturday, and found the boy to be unresponsive.
Investigators determined his injuries were not consistent with an accident, and arrested Christopher Berry, the boy's father.
Berry is due in court Monday on charges of assault and battery on a child, causing substantial bodily injury.
The boy is being treated at the Tufts Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.
