Boston Mayor Marty Walsh delivered his annual State of the City address.
The speech took place 7 p.m. Tuesday at historic Symphony Hall, home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
It was Walsh's second State of the City since taking office in January 2014.
Walsh touted Boston's now-defunct bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics in last year's address.
His administration helped quash the bid later that year by refusing to sign a guarantee committing the city to covering any costs should the games go over budget.
Walsh was a longtime state lawmaker and head of the Boston Building Trades Council, the city's largest building trades group, prior to being mayor.
