The body of a Massachusetts woman reported missing last year has been identified, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
WJAR-TV reported that authorities identified the body of 28-year-old Elizabeth Simon on Wednesday.
Simon's body was found Saturday in a marshy area behind a former Sam's Club in Fall River.
A district attorney spokesman told WJAR-TV that Simon was living at local homeless shelters when she was reported missing by extended family in early October.
The medical examiner's office has yet to determine the cause and manner of Simon's death.
