Police have released a sketch of a man they say burglarized a convenience store in Achushnet, Massachusetts, early Wednesday morning, the latest in a string of similar break-ins.

Authorities responded to Jason's Variety on Main Street shortly before 5 a.m. after the store's alarm was activated.

"Trying to get some money quick without having to go to work for it," said Marshal Allen, a clerk at Jason's Variety. "Hard-working families trying to make an honest living, and you have some people going around trying to ruin it for them," said Allen.

According to police, the thief had forced his way through the front door and stole items, including cigarettes and alcohol. Police say he then drove off in what is believed to be a stolen 2004 black Ford F-250 with multiple Harley Davidson decals.

Business after business has been broken into in Acushnet in recent weeks.

At Off Broadway School of Dance, a thief got away with $3,200.

"They stole their money that the kids had worked all year to raise to go to nationals in July," said dance mom Jeannine Rocha.

The burglar smashed through the front door at the dance studio, and then broke off a locked cabinet where the money was stored.

Next door, at M.J.'s Pet Training Academy, which was hit the same night, the suspect can be seen in security video with a flashlight prowling through the business and looking for whatever might be easy to grab.

Bonville's Market and JT's Pub have also been hit.

At the dance studio, students are trying to raise the money again.

"They stole a lot of money and when I found out, it broke my heart, because we worked so hard to get there," said dance student Ava Texeira.

Police aren't sure if the same person is responsible for all of the crimes.

The break-ins took place in the overnight hours.

Investigators are hoping for some tips from the public to help solve these cases.
