Multiple Crashes Cause Injuries, Delays in Greater Boston Area

Several crashes are affecting the Wednesday morning commute in the greater Boston area.

Injuries were reported on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham following a crash involving a semi-truck and a U-Haul vehicle. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the incident occurred near Route 9. Commuters were diverted to the breakdown lane to keep traffic flowing.

Officials confirmed the driver of the U-Haul was hospitalized. The conditions of the victims involved in the Framingham crash were not immediately available. 

Two separate crashes on Route 24 in Stoughton were also reported, according to officials. Both incidents occurred on the northbound lanes.

An additional two separate car crash scenes were cleared on eastbound lanes on the Mass. Turnpike near Route 122. 

The causes of each crash were not immediately clear.
