    Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the teens and 20s.
    Sunday: Mostly sunny. Not as breezy. Highs in the upper 30s to near 40.

    What to Know

    • Northern New England will get light snow today as temperatures turn more seasonal.

    • Expect partial clearing overnight with single digits in northern regions, and temperatures in the teens and 20s in Southern New England.

    • Milder temperatures are expected to arrive early in the workweek.

    Northern New England can expect an inch or two of snow today as Greater Boston and the rest of the region will be cloudy today with more seasonable temperatures.

    Our northern ski areas are on track to have one of the snowiest winters on record. Now that the arctic chill has relented, it may be the best weekend for skiing of the season. Also the pond hockey classic is underway at Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, New Hampshire.

    The weather map features a weak cold front coming out to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine with an inch or two of snow in the mountains. Otherwise we have partly to mostly cloudy sky with the temperature in the 20s to low 30s. Wind will be fairly light.

    Evening flurries or snow showers will dry up, with partial clearing overnight tonight and low temperature in the single numbers north. Expect the mercury to hover in the teens to low 20s south.

    Seasonable cold high-pressure moves in Sunday with plenty of sunshine. High temperatures will be in the 30s south and 20s north with not too much wind.

    Low pressure tracks through Ontario Monday and puts New England on the warmer side of the front. With a mixture of sun and clouds high temperature should reach 50° or better in a lot of New England.

    A cold front comes through Tuesday morning with a few showers, temperatures fall back from the 50s into the 40s late in the day.

    Seasonably cold high-pressure returns on Wednesday with a good amount of sunshine and a high temperature in the 30s, 20s north.

    A front approaches from the south Thursday with increasing clouds a chance of a wintry mix in the afternoon. It looks like we may have a couple of days of mountain snow, coastal rain, and inand ice. that could last Thursday night into the weekend.
